NaNoWriMo’s Young Writers Flash Fiction Contest

Earlier today, I submitted my flash fiction piece for NaNoWriMo’s Young Writers Flash Fiction Contest. Apparently, May is Short Story Month… perhaps I’ll have to do something to celebrate. Might have been better to do it on May 1, but maybe it’ll be on May 31. Anyway, the guidelines were: up to 300 words and must include the words cake, rainbow, and spider. I’m not going to publish the story yet, but I will when the contest is over. It is probably too late to compete (deadline for submissions is May 31) but you can find the information page here.
